This 'broderie de laine' piece was found in a small antiques fair in a village in the south of France. In excellent condition, and complete with its original frame, the artist has used a wide range of stitches to create flowers, plants, pots and brickwork under a bold orange and white canopy. Highly unusual and very decorative. A wonderful piece.
